Arrears of Pension/Lt Cols

I forwarded MOD letters as also CDA(P) circular No. 412 to my bank with a copy to their Head office the day I downloaded these from Indianmilitaryinfo.com and not only my pension has commenced wef Jul 2009 even the arrears upto June 2009 have been credited to my acct promptly by Canara Bank. Surprisingly all this has been done thru" email and not "INK SIGNED"'copies of Govt letters. I am sure banks are also very co operative if we provide them with necessary leads in time and exert a bit of pressure and not put such matters on auto pilot.
